Bella Rose, Chandler Arizona
I first met Eyen and Alex at the Arizona bridal show 2 years ago. I knew they were going to be a fun couple to shoot. They did not let anything phase them during the wedding. This was just a lot of fun. There were lots funny moments that were incorporated in the actual wedding. Maid of Honor and Best man Jedi Duel was something I have not seen before and that was awesome. Who would ever forget the father and daughter dance. Just a lot of fun. Seems like it runs in the family for the father of the bride was cool as ice. 3rd wedding at Bella Rose. Love the staff there. They are so helpful and do a great job with just about anything. Here are some photos of the day. Congratulations Eyen and Alex!

I saw these boys grow. I used to photograph their football team and they probably were around 12-13 then. Time flies and the twins are graduating high school. Congratulation Justin and Jacob.

I can still remember the time I photographed Vanessa and Ivan's wedding in Gilbert. Now were celebrating age one for baby number 3. What a lively and beautiful girl! Happy First Birthday Luna Gabrielle!

I will admit it. When I found out I was going to shoot this wedding. I was so excited. My team was excited. This was going to be a first for us. I spent time getting inspiration and ideas in shooting the wedding. The day came and everything just fell into place. It was evident that love was in the air. Michelle and Maizy's wedding was just filled with love and support. Their story was just like any other couple. They went on a date, saw each other a few times more and became a couple. What was awesome about all this was their chemistry. It shows on how they look at each other and how they operate and move as one. Congratulations Maizy and Michelle. Thank you for letting us document your day.

The ultimate stress in weddings happen during the wedding day itself. Some couples would be so stressed just by thinking of the little things. "Is everything Perfect?" Well really it depends on who you ask. If you ask me and my team. This wedding was one of the most easy and fun weddings we have been. There was just a good story to tell. From the getting dressed down to the Sparkler Exit. Sandra and George absorbed their day and just had a blast. I had so much fun taking photos of them after the ceremony. They were naturals and I was even singing the Sesame Street song just to give them some bounce on their walk. The reception was a blast as well. Everyone had a grand time. I think family events with Sandra and George will always be fun. Congratulations!

I always get excited when I shoot at Val Vista Lakes. It's one of my favorite venues to photograph a wedding. There are just so many great spots to shoot and the that backdrop is like no other. Shannon and Erik had a ceremony filled with emotions. The stories of love and commitment got people in tears. It was indeed a touching ceremony. Congratulations Shannon and Erik!

I love seeing photos of families having fun in weddings and this was one Family event. I saw the closeness and tightness of each family. Love was in the air. Ashley and Mario were so relaxed. Highlights were photos from the park. Congratulations Ashley and Mario!

What I like about this wedding is that Ericka and Weyami made the Bridal Party small in number which made it so personal. It actually rained in the morning but cleared out during the wedding. After that it started to rain again. Its like someone hit the weather button and clicked pause. Love the ceremony. The pastor did a great job and kept it light and funny.
The reception was a blast. You can tell that there was a lot of preparation done from a program perspective. The Bridal Party and Parents dance was so full of energy as it shows in the photos below.
Congratulation Ericka and Weyami

You will never know when you will find your true love. With Maryrose and Peter that time was in a dating event. This video will paint the picture on how this love story started. The ceremony at the Royal Palms in Scottsdale was lovely. We had a few showers in the morning and it just cleared out during the ceremony. This was what Maryrose wanted. An overcast wedding. I can’t believe she did all the planning including the weather. It’s like she had mother nature’s schedule.
Congratulations Peter and Maryrose. Your Love Story Continues.

There was some level of calmness when we got to the venue. Nathan was hands on in making sure all the last minute set-ups were done and initiated as planned. Montse was all relaxed with her bridesmaids and looked stunning with her gown. When the bridal march started. The air was filled with Joy and Laughter as the Bridal Party strutted with some dance moves on the way to the front. It was indeed a sight to see. What a happy day. Congratulations Nathan and Montse!

This was the first time shooting at the Renaissance and it was great because we had some back access courtesy of my good friend Anne Mattis. I just love the colors of the hotel and who could ever expect the best view of the Cardinals Stadium. Victoria and Michael were fun to be around and they kept it going all throughout the night. Candies, photo booth and a gelato station kept the guest entertained. Even the qubevision team got into some ice cream action. Congratulations to Victoria and Michael.

I have known the bride for a long time and when Nicole told me she was going to get married I was excited to shoot it. As expected Nicole looked gorgeous in her gown. She looked so good that Matt could not help but tear up during the bridal march. He was in the moment and the emotions just took over. That was a great site to see. The reception went on as planned and yes it was a party. Everyone had a great time.
Congratulations Nicole and Matt!

The first time I met Melissa. I got really excited to shoot her wedding. She was so detailed on what she wanted to do and it sounded like a good party. This wedding was a first for me in regards to having a tattoo ceremony. Now who can say they did that in their wedding. Everyone was out there to party and it was exciting to witness it. Ian had no problems getting down on the dance floor and just showed everyone his moves. The games were fun and exciting and the DJ rocked out the wedding for sure. One thing remained constant during the speeches. The admiration of family and friends with this couple. Congratulation Ian and Melissa.

Jessica was filled with joy and looked relaxed. Felipe showed up in the brides suite and cant wait to get married. Love was in the air and the weather was there to back it up. The church was serene. I have never seen a church that well lighted. The reception was fun filled. The speeches were given from the heart and one thing was true. Jessica and Felipe are role models to family and friends. This wedding had everything including Chocolate fondue with strawberries. Who would not want that!

Second time I shot in this venue and just loved it. There's just so many great spots to shoot. One of the wow moments was when I saw Sarah walking down the stairs and I was right at the top looking at everyone standing and just waiting for the bride. This venue has the most dramatic Bridal Entrance here in Phoenix. Tom was cool all throughout and was soaking it all in. The guests were there to party and come to think of it...This was a Thursday night!
Congratulations Tom and Sarah

If given the chance to get married in the day of love. I would take the chance if it falls on a Saturday. Fernando an Gema did just that. This wedding was filled with emotion from the couple writing their vows down to the reception speeches. What got me was the emotion the father and daughter dance. A photo below just shows that connection between Gema and her dad. Just an amazing wedding on valentines day.

The ceremony venue looked liked it was painted from a fairytale. The leaves turned yellow and orange and there was just enough to paint the aisle. The little benches were just a great addition to the scene. Peter looked cool and relaxed and Maricel looked stunning with her gown. The Ceremony ended with balloons in the air. This was such a great thing to see. Congratulations Peter and Maricel!

I have always liked church weddings. I was married in a catholic church myself. I just love the serenity that goes into it and it just feels very classic. The bride marched down the aisle and the was one great sight to see. The ceremony was solemn. The reception was one of the most fun weddings I have seen. The groom got hurled in the air, the band was real good and there was a lot of great dancing. Congratulations Itzel and Neal!

Rob and Lindsey's wedding was absolutely cool. I had fun that's for sure. The ceremony was short and sweet. Rob and Lindsey had a good ceremony and a super fun reception. The guests definitely knew how to have fun. I have done quite a few weddings and they are all different in some ways. I have to say this is the first wedding I saw where the bride and groom were actually put on a chair and carried all around the reception area. Just a fun thing to see.

When I met Mariele during the Bridal show last January. I knew her wedding was going to be a lot of fun. Why you ask? Well first of all. I have been to a lot of Filipino weddings and I knew there was going to be a lot of singing, dancing and more singing. Emotions are a part of it too. I have seen calmness before the wedding at the brides room and a whole lot of music at the grooms.
The ceremony was solemn and we could not have asked for a better weather. The bride walked down the aisle with such joy and I just love looking at the grooms face seeing the bride for the first time that day. It's just always a classic look. The photo booth and the Gelato Bar was a big hit. On behalf of the Qubevision team. Congratulations Mariele and Michael!

Antonio and Cristina
Mid October weddings can go either way with weather. It could be too hot or maybe get some rain but this day was just exceptional. Blackstone was gorgeous! I have to say it's one of the best places I've been when it comes to weddings. It was just beautiful.
I have met Cristina during a Bridal Show event in Phoenix 2 years ago. She prepared for this wedding ahead of time which was very impressive considering most brides plan a wedding with an average of 8 months to a year. If I were to describe this wedding. I would say its elegant with a touch of modern. The Bride looked stunning with her gown and the silver Chuck Taylor's got me there. I just knew then that wedding was going to be just cool. Now to add a twist. Have you ever seen a wedding were the Matron of Honor was the minister. I'm sure that's a first for me.
Family binds us together. This was no exception. Amidst the chaos of a wedding. You could really feel the love and support from family and friends that surrounded the couple.
Antonio and Cristina. Congratulations!

I have met Jeanene and Ed the first time we launched our photo booth 2 years ago and I have grown to really like them. They both have a good sense of humor and are great to be around. When I learned about their wedding venue. I just told myself. I want to shoot this wedding. Well who would not want to shoot in Sedona during the month of October. This was a great and majestic wedding. What struck me the most were the vows. It was just heartfelt. Ed and Jeanene Congratulations!

It's been a good couple of months since my last photo blog. The wedding season is just about to start again this fall and Maricel and Peter will be tying the knot this December. I'm really excited to shoot their wedding. There's some good chemistry during our engagement session and it sure will be an exciting wedding.
We shot this session at Kiwanis park. There's a lot of photo elements on this park and the hilly sides and lake are a given bonus. LOVE IT!. Good place to shoot and I plan to shoot there again!

Graduating this year is Haley Palma. This shoot was staged at the busy Mill Avenue. I like Haley for she looks a little shy but don't be fooled. She knows how to get a crowd going. Yes.. this girl can RAP and entertain a crowd. I'm a witness and I believe. Congratulations Haley!

It's that time again for graduations and the class of 2014 will be celebrating a life milestone. I have known Kayla for a while now. If you have been seeing the photos at qubevision.com then you will see her in a few photos. She was a bridesmaid in her moms wedding and now shes graduating high school. Kayla suggested the venue for the shoot and she picked well. Trees, creek a fountain... who could ask for more. It was a perfect day for a shoot.

I met Jeanene and Ed during the 2012 Bridal Show. They planned their wedding 2 years in advance and will be wed in Sedona this year. Last year they presented an idea to shoot their engagement in a carnival or should I say a fair. This idea was so appealing to me. I have always wanted the opportunity to shoot an engagement session with all the rides and cotton candy. This was such a good day. It was windy but we all had fun.

Jessica and Larry 3/29/2014
Jessica looked stunning and the gown was gorgeous. Larry was relaxed and looked like he was absorbing the moment. This wedding was a sight to see with the venue looking immaculate. Qubevision provided the photo booth for this event but I could not help snap some photos. The father and daughter dance got me. That was indeed a moment.

Phoenix Wedding
This was one of those days where the kids rhyme "rain rain go away come again another day" was on my mind the whole morning. I felt like mother nature was just messing with us but the she pulled through. We had rain for 3 consecutive days then Jordan and Derek just planned to have it in the reception area which would have been "oh no" moment, for that garden was immaculate and that's what Jordan wished for. The Garden wedding happened after all and it was just a great wedding. The coming down the stairway bridal march was what did for me. Derek looked so happy when Jordan walked down. Everyone was on their feet, faces glowed, tears of joy rolled down their cheeks and love was in the air. When the bridal party marched out of the garden, mother nature pressed the play button and it started raining again. Now thats special! Congratulations Derek and Jordan!

When you talk about a well organized wedding then this was it. Everything was just on time which is really rare in a wedding. I have always wanted to have time with the bride and groom after the ceremony and we had good time to shoot a few Bride and Groom shots when the sun was setting. I got excited really.
There were a lot of great moments during the wedding. What I noticed was how close the families were. The rose ceremony was really touching. The parents were presented a rose from Charissa and Carlos. During the reception, what really got me was the dance where Charissa and Carlos kissed and when I glanced to the right I saw mom and dad looking on and Wow!! the look on their faces. It was just absolute joy. Those are the last 2 photos taken in succession at the end of the post below. The reception was a blast. Everybody just had fun. Charissa and Poppers (hope I spelled that right) Congratulations! It sure was a great wedding!

Sean and Mindy's wedding was lovely and filled with fun and laughter. The day started with flower girls just having fun while practicing on what to do with the flowers. There was a candy bar and what made the day so catchy to the eye was the colors. I have not experienced a peacock colored wedding before and this one just impressed me. Everything was just vibrant. Considering all the emotions and the usual go, go, go, attitude during a wedding. Mindy and Sean were calm. A very touching moment happened when Mindy gave her mom a bracelet and that just did it for me. The ceremony was just perfect as well. I just know that the love and care from both families will be a good foundation for the newly weds. I love how this day turned out. The butterfly release was such a brilliant idea and so did the couples exit with LED white balloons. One word to describe the day... ENCHANTING! Shout out to the DJ who gave us all a good time.

I have known Mika's parents for years and when I was asked to photograph this party I got excited. I just know that they have prepared for this quincenera and it was going to be a blast. The venue was immaculate and when I saw the gray walls. My light bulb moment was just blinking like a strobe light. We were able to stream the clickqube photos to a huge projector image on the wall that created a good atmosphere and a party ambience. The DJ and the band provided the tunes. This venue was rockin' like a club but nothing will beat the father daughter dance that morphed into a family dance to some hip-hop tunes. Just awesome!!! Happy 15th Mika! It was a party to remember.

It feels weird for me to be in a wedding then not have a camera on my side. I was able to do some creative video shots before the actual wedding but i had to fulfill my duties as the best man. This wedding was special for my brother tied the knot with Ten. I normally observe a wedding on the day off but this was pretty much a week. All my family was there so it was fun and it was organized chaos. We were faced with the challenge of getting people to shoot the wedding in my absence. Thank You Kevin and Soy for your talents! Just awesome guys!
The wedding was a big success. April and Jannhet rocked the party and they do events in Vegas and DJ Darrel provided the tunes. The venue was immaculate. Although we had some showers that day. It did not stop us from having a good time. Don and Ten! It was a wonderfull wedding. Congratulations!!!

Estrella’s speech was so heartwarming that I had to put it in the beginning of this video. Love and emotions filled this wedding and you match that with a DJ, Mariachi and a band. You know that it will be a rollercoaster of fun and emotions and at the end of the day everybody will go home happy and marking that wedding as one of the best ones. The reception hall was immaculate. I have to say that was one of the best decorating I have seen to date. I love the closeness of the 2 families. I see the father of the bride just grabbing a microphone and singing with band. It was all good fun. Danny and Estrella, Congratulations on your wedding.

This wedding had everything. A beautiful bride whose dress was absolutely stunning. A groom who was never fazed with last minute changes and managed to look good despite the craziness of the bridal party. The venue that was was lit with blue skies and was picture perfect. Raena and Kory's wedding was filled with emotions. Kory wrote the most beautiful letter which Raena read before the wedding and that was a sight to see. The father of the bride got emotional seeing her daughter just right before the bridal march and who would ever forget Kory's expression when Raena was walking down the aisle. The reception was a blast. It was great to see kids of all ages just had fun on the dance floor, the photo booth and yes...the bar. Congratulations Raena and Kory!

It's great to see two people in love. Raena and Kory are good friends of my wife and I know their love story because my wife Ana loves to tell their story. Their story is beautiful and there's always sparks between these two. Raena and Kory did not know what to expect or better yet not know what to do in an engagement shoot. I was confident that they will look natural in front of the camera by just being themeselves. I have seen them both in a bar and dinner setting and they just look good as a couple. Congratulations on your engagement! I can't wait to shoot your wedding this February.

Phoenix Wedding
It's always good to shoot a wedding when you know the bride and groom. I had the privilege to photograph Vanessa and Ivan in three different occasions. The wedding was after lunch so this was an early start. The ceremony was as solemn as expected. Vanessa looked gorgeous and Ivan as always looking like Mr. Cool. Ivan was caught looking at Vanessa in one of the photos below and thats what I call a moment. You can definitely see the love with that look.
The reception was the opposite of solemn. When I saw the venue. I was looking at some really good decorations and was greeted by an 18 inch subwoofer on a sound check. I knew then that it was going to be one big PARTY. A famous DJ from a Phoenix radio station was spinning. You all know DJ Chris Villa. The guy rocked the house. It was good fun but I think what stole the night was the father and daughter dance that started with the usual slow song and ended with a hip hop dance. I loved every minute of it. Congratulations Vanessa and Ivan.

September is a popular month for weddings in Minnesota. The air cools off and the weather did cooperate in the last minute and gave JaNaye and Chad a lovely wedding day. The church at the University of St. Thomas was just beautiful. Janaye and Chad looked calm before the wedding and you can tell the ceremony was going to be special. After all, how rare is it to see a flower girl pulling a radio flyer cart with the ring bearer on it. Congratulations JaNaye and Chad. Your wedding was absolutely beautiful.

I love taking photographs of babies that smile a lot. I think most photographers would agree. Nathan and Danielle's bundle of joy was fun to work with. It's normal for a baby to get fuzzy with a photographer and she did it first but when we got rolling she was just fun to work with. Mom and Dad's personalities were evident in Londyn's photographs. Even the four legged brother Onyx was part of the family action. Thank's Nathan and Danielle for letting me photoraph Londyn.

I have thought of shooting Mill Avenue for some time and Stephanie and Ruben where perfect for this. I gathered they like to go out and party and what better way to shoot an engagement session at Mill Avenue on a Sunday morning while the party crowd is asleep at 7 AM. The giant rabits on the first photo looks like a snapshot from a fairytale movie or something.
Stephanie and Ruben where naturals. The session was easy and fun. I can't wait to shoot there wedding this November.

Raven Verrado
What makes a good wedding? Its a question that can be answered a thousand ways. If you ask a photographer that question it will be three things. A happy couple, an awesome venue and great weather. We got 2.5 out of the three. The weather was not perfect, but I'm thankful that the temperature was not in the hundreds. It was in the low 80's in late May. Now that's rare in Phoenix. We did get some winds but it was not a deal breaker, hence the .5 for weather. The venue was amazing. The Raven in Verrado did not run out of places to shoot. I wished I had more time with the bride and groom to cover such a great venue. The sun was setting and we didn't want all the guests to be waiting at the reception room.
Tiffany and Trevor had a certain chemistry that was great to see. I love how candid they were. Congratulations TNT! Thank you for making me a part of your great day.

I have always had that level of interest in senior photo sessions. It makes you think what you were doing at that age. Eddie showed a colorful personality. He did say he was getting used to this "modeling thing". I just love the interaction. I was just being myself cracking jokes and we were throwing ideas back and forth. The mom and son conversation was the best though. You just can't put a price on being random. Great session. Thanks Eddie and Linda!

I have always wanted too shoot an engagement session in Sedona. I needed some time away from the normal photo spots here in Phoenix. Emma, What a wonderful name! I have always loved taking pictures of a new born baby. You can't direct a baby. That means their poses are as natural as it can be. You just have to let the session come to you and be ready to click the camera when the right moment hits. Baby Emma did not really care if flashes where going on and off. She was a natural. We had to her big brother and big sister help us as well. This turned out to be a modelling shoot. Thank you Sara and Jeremy for inviting me to your wonderful home.
I have always wanted to have a photo session with a couple that has tons of energy and a knack of being creative. A photographers dream subject I should say. Rebecca is known to be a scrabble champion. I had the impression that she trash talks while challenging people. Erik acts and breathes cool. I think that's a must for a man who has a future wife taunting people in a game of scrabble. I'm totally joking with the taunting part. It just sounded funny. Back to photography. Rebecca and Erik. Yes! a dream to work with. Nothing will stop this couple from getting a good shot, not even a freshly watered lawn. Congratulations Rebecca and Erik on your engagement.
